Kate Middleton, better known as the “Duchess of Cambridge” or the “favorite daughter-in-law”, is set to have another name change in the coming years because the royals like to keep things confusing.
When Kate’s father-in-law, better known as ‘Prince Charles’ or ‘Diana’s ex’, eventually outlives the Queen and takes over the throne, Kate will move up a rank too and become the ‘Princess of Wales’— the same title held by Princess Diana, which may or may not become a mental sexual block for Prince William.
And when Prince William takes over from ‘Diana’s ex’ as the reigning monarch, Kate will undergo a further title change that still won’t matter because people continue to call her Kate Middleton.
In terms of celebrating these big promotions that she’ll get after some in-law passes away, Kate will have a ceremony to commemorate the change. A bittersweet celebration, hopefully.
