Prince Harry is returning to England for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue at Kensington Palace, and his whole family cannot wait to see him… go back to the US when the unveiling is over.
Prince Charles, who is currently estranged from Harry, decided to take this rare opportunity that his youngest son will be in the UK, to leave town. But only because he doesn’t want to see Harry. Or talk to him. Or deal with their father-son drama.
There’s also the fact that Charles must not feel comfortable helping unveil a statue of his late ex-wife, who he cheated on and did not like very much at all. Not to mention that no one seems interested in building a statue of him or his current wife, who he actually likes. And that’s no easy pill to swallow.
The good news is that Prince Harry and Prince William will walk out together that day out of respect for their mother, hating each other in respectful silence. They will also be giving separate speeches, making the unveiling last longer than it had to be.
