Jason Sudeikis is finally opening up about his split from ex-fiancee of seven years, Olivia Wilde. But not to a good therapist like his mom wanted him to, but to a reporter for a cover story for GQ’s August issue.
Some people say that’s better than not talking about the split at all, but Olivia Wilde strongly disagrees with those people who, in her opinion, should not comment on other people’s business when they are clearly wrong.
“I’ll have a better understanding of why in a year,” Jason said to the shocked reporter who had to ask about the breakup but had no idea Jason was feeling petty enough to comment on it.
Jason continued: “and an even better one in two, and an even greater one in five, and it’ll go from being, you know, a book of my life to becoming a chapter to a paragraph to a line to a word to a doodle.” Hopefully the mother of his two kids reads this and learns these are the things to look forward to.
The 45-year-old actor also confirmed that he and Olivia split up in November of 2020 and not at the beginning of that year like everyone else thought—which means quarantine must have been tough for the now ex-couple and that once again people were wrong. People are wrong a lot.
