Prince Harry is writing a memoir. And by that we mean that he’s paying an actual writer to write his memoir because writing was fun for the first 2 pages but it got much harder after realizing they also have to be good.
The book will be released in late 2022 if The Queen doesn’t use her international influence to go back in time and tell her son Charles to treat his first wife a lot nicer so he won’t traumatize his second child.
Prince Harry is getting at least $20 million upfront from the renowned publisher Penguin Random House—which is a lot of money until you hear that Barack and Michelle Obama got $65 million for their book deal. To be fair, however, they actually worked hard before getting a book deal so all in all, still a win for Harry.
“I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become,” Prince Harry said in a statement, in an attempt to discourage people from buying this book.
The manuscript was due to be turned in in August, but because Harry and Meghan Markle have been busy creating that one podcast seven months ago, Harry is behind and the deadline has been pushed back until October.
Though it is unclear exactly what the book will cover, Prince William and Kate are already upset about it.
