Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have been together for over 8 years, but the actor still remembers wooing his wife like it was 63 years ago… they’ve been through a lot.
On Monday, Ryan appeared on the SmartLess podcast and talked for a whole hour about his humanitarian efforts, his different business ventures and a bunch of other stuff that wouldn’t be making headlines if it wasn’t for the 30 seconds he spent talking about his wife.
The actor first revealed that it was him, not her, who made the first move which that alone shocked absolutely no one. He then went on to say that he and Blake had known each other for a year and a half before having the burning desire to see each other’s private areas.
A week after that, he suggested they buy a house together and she did not immediately block his number even though that is a huge red flag… but instead she got a house with him, they got married a few years later and had three daughters together.
However, it is worth noting that things almost never work out that way and no one—and I mean NO ONE—should try this unless they happen to be dating a recently divorced Ryan Reynolds or Blake Lively, because stories like this almost always end up with someone being murdered or at the very least losing a vital organ.
