It looks like Selena Gomez just started dating a very handsome man. No, it’s not Ryan Reynolds, he’s married. It’s also not David Beckham, he’s British. It’s Chris Evans.
Neither actors have confirmed or hinted that they’re a couple but there are rumors on the internet and those are almost always not true, but don’t let that fool you.
As for why the rumors started, well, for starters, Chris Evans follows Selena Gomez on Instagram. Now, I know what you’re thinking, “I also follow Selena on Instagram and that doesn’t mean we’re dating”. But that’s because she’s already dating Chris Evans! Please keep up.
Second clue: they were spotted leaving the same Los Angeles studio last week. And though it is technically possible that they could just be working together, the storyline of them dating is way more exciting so do not ruin this for everyone else.
They were also photographed at the same restaurant in the city days later after leaving the studio. Coincidence? Yes. This one’s a stretch. People love reading into things that don’t mean anything.
But also, in 2015, Selena told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that she thinks Chris Evans is, and I quote, “very cute.” And everyone knows that what people thought or felt six years ago is the same as how they feel now.
So, yeah. They’re doing it.
