Jemima Khan, a British television producer and friend of Princess Diana, quit a consulting role on the upcoming fifth season of Netflix’s drama series, The Crown.

“It was really important to me that the final years of my friend’s life be portrayed accurately and with compassion,” Jemima told The Sunday Times. “But sadly, that wasn’t the case.”

Jemima argued that everything about The Crown’s Diana was wrong. “The real Diana wasn’t so bony,” she explained. “And her knees were rounder”.

“We can’t actually change that!” Peter Morgan, the creator of the show explained to The Sunday Times when they contacted him for comments. “That’s just how the actress’ knees look like, she’s not actually Diana.”

“And her height!” Jemima howled. “The Crown’s Diana refused to make herself shorter when I told her every time I saw her that Diana was 5’’ 8’, and not 6’’ 3’ like her,” she said while rolling her eyes.

“And don’t even get me started on her attitude. The real Diana was so kind and we could talk for hours,” Jemima explained. “But every time I asked their Diana to hang out with me, she kept saying we weren’t actually friends.”

Hard to imagine why. Jemima sounds very pleasant.
