We all know Meryl Streep. Greatest living actress. Kindest human being. A natural blonde.

And today, this legend turned 72-years-old and looks every bit as good as she did yesterday when she was only 71. Maybe even better because people tend to dress up on their birthdays.

With three Oscars, three Emmys and six Grammy noms, Meryl has reached a level of fame that most can only dream of. And on her 72 birthday, she’s getting something she didn’t ask for: a subway station renamed after her.

Artist and photographer Adrian Wilson and production designer Matt Duncan joined forces to honor her by changing the 72nd Street subway signs in Manhattan borough to read “72 Streep” instead. A  big gesture and yet such a small change that will make people question if Meryl is telling the truth when she tells family and friends that the ‘p’ is not a mistake and is meant to honor her.

Speaking with the New York Post, Adrian said the birthday surprise “is a gift from New York to one of our favorite people.” What a beautiful way to honor a beautiful woman, and expose her exact age.
