Hopefully the Duchess of Sussex reads this article and learns that her in-laws did wish her a happy birthday publicly, despite hating her privately. And though the messages weren’t very warm, or enthusiastic, or heartfelt, the social media manager meant every word.
It is unclear if choosing to do the birthday post on Instagram Stories instead of making them a permanent grid post like they did when Kate Middleton turned 39, and 38, and 37 and 36 was to very subtly upset Meghan or upset her in a very obvious way.
It is also unclear if the family called Meghan on top of making the social media post to wish her a happy birthday but one thing is for sure, they did call Barack Obama to wish him a very happy 60th birthday. And they meant it.
