If you’ve ever wanted to be Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City, now is your chance. Plastic surgeons are better than ever and for the right price, you can literally become her.
But if you’ve only just wanted to live like Carrie and spend a day in her apartment, now is also your chance, thanks to Warner Bros and Airbnb. They are offering two, one-night stays at Carrie’s apartment on the Upper East Side, except that it’s not actually her apartment but a close-enough recreation.
It’s not free, but it’s only $23 a night—a nod to the show’s 23-year history. Except that with taxes and fees, the stay will actually cost $26.22. Someone in their marketing department didn’t think things through.
The lucky guests will be greeted by Sarah Jessica Parker herself. Just kidding. But they will be treated to her voice doing the famous narration her character did on Sex and the City.
Guests will also have full access to Carrie’s closet, including jewelry, dresses, skirts, and pumps! And yes, they will have the chance to try them on and leave everything behind after their stay is over. The police will be called if they take something with them.
Booking for the Bradshaw apartment opens on November 8 at noon. There’s no contest required to win a stay, just a little bit of luck and money because guests are responsible for their travel to and from New York.
