I met up with Kim Kardashian in my office the morning news broke that she and Pete Davidson had a secret dinner together. (!!!) Mind you, the dinner happened days after they were photographed holding hands at Knott’s Scary Farm… so, are they dating? Are they friends? What is happening?!
Regardless, I acted cool as a cucumber and didn’t let the new information stop me from being professional during the interview.
Bea: Thanks for coming.

Bea: You know I would’ve come to you but it was impossible because I didn’t want to drive.

Bea: Can I get you something?

Bea: [to Kim’s assistant:] Can you get Kim her water?
Kim: You know what, never mind…. Let’s just get to your questions about SKIMS.
Bea: SKIMS?? Oh, your underwear brand, yes…I do have a lot of questions about that…
Kim: It’s a shapewear brand. Not underwear.
Bea: That’s what I said…. but before we start chatting about panties, you know I HAVE to ask you about Pete Davidson.
Kim: What about Pete?
Bea: “Pete”, huh? Is that what you call him?
Kim: That is his name… so, yes.
Bea: So it’s true that you’re dating?
Kim: What?
Bea: Blink once to confirm or twice to extra confirm.
Kim: We… I… I don’t get the media’s obsession with labeling my relationships.
Bea: Yes, you do.
Kim: We are simply enjoying spending time together… That’s it.
Bea: Interesting… so when you say “spending time together”… do you mean “He might be the one after Kanye was clearly the wrong choice”?
Kim: What? No! Can you ask me about SKIMS already?
Bea: Of course! Uh… has Pete Davidson seen you wearing SKIMS?
Kim: No. Next question.
Bea: What do you guys talk about when you spend time together? Has he told you that he moved out from his mom’s basement recently? You must be proud.
Kim: Next question about SKIMS.
Bea: Right. *checks notes*
Kim: [silence]
Bea: Will you make an Ad campaign for SKIMS with Pete… or is it too soon to ask for favors?
Kim: Okay… this is not going to work.
Bea: Why not? I don’t think he’ll mind. He seems chill.
[Kim gives a look to her assistant]
Kim’s assistant: We should go… we don’t want you to be late for your next appointment.
Bea: Already?
Kim: Yes. Sorry about that. Thanks for having me.
Bea: Of course! I’ll email you if I have any more questions.
Kim: Oh, please don’t.
