Everyone’s talking about how great Meghan Markle looked at the 2021 Salute to Freedom Gala last night, where the Duchess wore a stunning, scarlet red gown by Carolina Herrera.
“The Duchess’s beauty look was fresh, flowing, and glamorous,” wrote Cosmpolitan. “But what about me?” said Prince Harry.
“Obviously, you looked gorgeous,” Harry continued telling Meghan, “but I think I looked pretty good too, and no one’s talking about that.”
“You know, if we were in England, people would be talking about me and how poised I looked last night,” he dared to say to Meghan Markle.
“Do you think people pay less attention to me because I’m British?” Harry asked without expecting a response.
“Perhaps I should send granny some of these pictures. So she can see how well I’m doing,” he continued.
“Sorry, how well WE are doing,” Harry corrected himself when he realized he made the mistake of talking about himself as an “I” instead of a “We”. A big no-no as he has come to understand by making the mistake over and over again.
By the time he looked up to see what Meghan had to say, she had already left the room.
