Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper sparked romance rumors when they looked madly in love during the Oscars in 2019 while performing the song “Shallow”.
At the time, Lady Gaga said that looking in love was part of the act. “Yes, we wanted everyone to think we were in love to make the moment more believable,” she told Jimmy Kimmel a few days after the moment had gone viral.
But it’s only now that Bradley Cooper is confirming that it really was all “an act”, that people are starting to believe it.
“There’s just something about the way a white man says things that make things believable,” said another white man who doesn’t know Bradley or Lady Gaga personally.
Never mind the fact that Gaga and Cooper were never spotted together again and that she is in a committed relationship with another man and has been for almost two years.
“What can I say?” said Chad Brown, a random person on the street. “Bradley Cooper said it in a way that was more convincing. That doesn’t make me sexist.”
“I knew it!,” said another random person to his family who doesn’t care about celebrity culture. “I knew they were never really in love and we finally have confirmation!”
