Kanye West isn’t giving up on his marriage. He said so himself in a recent appearance on Revolt TV’s Drink Champs podcast, where he spoke about his relationship with Kim Kardashian, who already filed for divorce back in February.
“She is still my wife,” Kanye said. “The divorce means nothing. It’s just a legal paper.”
One can’t really argue with that logic!
“My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to stay together,” Kanye continued. “Kim’s the only one who doesn’t want us to be together. But she’s outnumbered.”
However, Kim does have the law by her side, but the podcaster didn’t point that out. Probably for the best.
And even though Kim and Kanye barely speak and haven’t lived together in years, Kanye is convinced they have the most romantic marriage in Hollywood.
“People tell me that every day,” Kanye said. “Actually, they don’t, but they should.”
“But you’re not even married anymore!” the podcaster told him.
“Yes, we are. I told you. My kids and I agreed.”
When asked how he feels about Kim being romantically linked to Pete Davidson, Kanye went silent for 6 full minutes—which in the podcast world, is like 7 hours of awkward silence.
Someone eventually went up to him to check his pulse to see if he was still with us but he thankfully began talking again. This time about his album.
