It’s been two weeks since most of us in the U.S. have been self-isolating in our homes to flatten the curve and stop the spread of COVID-19, including J-Lo, A-Rod, and myself. However, I went over to their home to see what the couple were up to while social distancing and to talk about some rumors I heard about them.
Bea: Hi you two. Thanks for letting me come in.
Jennifer: Of course.
Alex: Absolutely.
Bea: For the three hours I was waiting outside, I thought you weren’t going to let me.
Jennifer: [Silence]
Alex: [Silence]
Bea: How long have you been self-isolating?
Jennifer: 13 days.
Bea: So Jennifer, what’s your favorite thing about being locked up in a house with Alex?
Jennifer: [pauses for a second] I love being around him all day, enjoying each other’s companies.
Bea: That’s nice. Alex, what’s your favorite thing about being interviewed by me?
Alex: Uhh… that it’s happening at my house and I didn’t have to go anywhere.
Bea: That’s sweet. You’re so sweet, Alex. Isn’t he sweet?
Jennifer: [Silence]
Bea: Don’t listen to her, Alex. You’re sweet.
Alex: Uh, thanks.
Bea: There’s a rumor on the internet that you cheated on J-lo with Jessica Canseco. Have you heard that?
Alex: Yes, and it’s completely false.
Bea: I know. I’ve met her. She’s way out of your league.
Alex: [Silence]
Jennifer: Well, it’s dinner time so…
Alex: Yeah, it’s getting late.
Bea: Yes, of course.
[The three of us get up]
Bea: So where’s the kitchen?
