Late on Saturday night, Kanye West announced that he’s running for President in 2020… because that’s what this country needs, a different kind of man-child in the White House.
I tried getting an interview with the “presidential candidate” but when I finally got in touch with him, he refused to stop eating and so I couldn’t make sense of what he was saying. So I asked his family members and important people in Hollywood what they think of Kanye being our next president.
Here’s what they had to say:
Kris Jenner: I can picture a world where Kanye West is the president of the United States, and my daughter Kim is the First Lady. And I’m stuck taking care of their four kids. I hate that world.
Scott Disick: I personally think it’s great. I strongly believe the man has more to offer than people think. For starters, he could give the poor a good discount on Yeezys.
Jay Z: I don’t know what to say… It takes a big man to run for president, but it takes a bigger man to tell that man to cut the crap and let an actually qualified person run the country.
Elon Musk: I was on my way to work when I read Kanye’s tweet. I got pumped. I rapidly tweeted my unconditional support. Is he honestly not gonna say thank you??
Bill Gates: Who’s Kanye West?
Kevin Hart: I think he could do it. He’s smart, charismatic, has an eye for design… Heck yeah, he could be President. Not of the United States… but of a department store, for sure. Maybe Macy’s.
Taylor Swift: I once dated a guy similar to Kanye… That’s it. That’s my statement.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson: Kanye for President! I like it. I even thought of a slogan for his campaign. Tell me if you like it: “Kanye West may have a big ego, but he’s unqualified too.”
Meghan Markle: I looked up the word President in the dictionary. It’s actually a combination of two words: presi, which means “to preside” and dent, which means “apparently any idiot can do it”.
