Katy Perry gave birth to her first child with Orlando Bloom, a beautiful baby girl named Daisy Dove Bloom! With all the excitement and extra hormones she’s experiencing right now, she agreed to share some of the text messages she got from some of her famous friends after they found out she gave birth.
Selena Gomez: I’m so happy for you and Orlando! When I got the text that you were headed to the hospital, I started to cry so hard because I’m just so happy and also when am I gonna be a mom? I’m not saying I want to right now, like a boyfriend would be nice first but I’m just so happy for you. Congrats!!
Rihanna: You did it, mama. You’re incredible. You just birthed a human, can you believe you did that? I mean, of course you can, #ThePainWasReal. Did Orlando see it happen? Tell him that yes, it was supposed to get that large. And yes, it will go back to its regular size, and that it’s rude to keep asking if you’re 100% sure of that.
Simon Cowell: Congratulations, Katy. Hope all the pushing wasn’t too exhausting and you’re all good now. I’m also feeling a little better since having back surgery. You heard I fell off my electric bike, right? ‘Cause I didn’t get a text from you. I bet you were busy. Anyway, the recovery has been very painful.
Harry Styles: Hey! I just heard you had a baby with the coolest name ever… Daisy Dove Bloom. Boy or girl?
Miley Cyrus: I’ll never ever forget the day you told me you were pregnant and I didn’t believe you because you always say that and so I asked you to prove it by peeing on a stick, though in retrospect I should’ve been more specific and instead of ‘stick’ should’ve said ‘pregnancy test’.
Orlando’s ex-wife, Miranda Kerr: I’m so so happy for you guys!! What’s the baby’s name again… Flower Bird? That’s so you, always going for the joke. I literally cannot wait to meet her and I hope she gets Orlando’s mom’s personality. Congrats again.
