After breaking off her engagement to talent agent Christian Carino, and a short-lived fling with audio engineer Dan Horton, the singer has started off 2020 with a new man in her life, entrepreneur and Harvard graduate Michael Polansky. The two made their relationship Instagram-official after sharing a photo of them in Miami just days after rumors of their romance broke.
The new couple agreed to sit down with me to talk about how they met and what keeps their relationship strong.
Bea: Hi guys. Thanks for doing this with me.
Michael: Sure thing.
Lady Gaga: No problem.
Bea: I went to one of your concerts a few years ago with my brother. I remember crying up until the last song.
Lady Gaga: Aww, it always warms my heart to hear I move people like that.
Bea: Yeah… it was mostly because the fat guy sitting next to me stepped on my foot and broke my pinky.
Lady Gaga: Oh dear.
Bea: I wore a cast for a month. I wish nothing but pain to that jackass.
[Silence.]
Bea: Anyway, congratulations on your new relationship.
Michael: Thanks, we are very happy.
Lady Gaga: Yeah, we are!
Bea: How did you meet?
Michael: We’ve actually known each other for a while because Stef goes to a lot of parties hosted by my boss, Sean Parker, who btw is the co-founder of Facebook.
Bea: Who the crap is Stef?
Lady Gaga: I am.
Michael: But we didn’t start hanging out one-on-one until December.
Bea: So you’ve only been dating for three months and you’re already Instagram official?
Lady Gaga: That’s right.
Bea: I’ve had a low-fat yogurt in my fridge for longer than that.
Michael: I know… but we’re really crazy about each other.
Bea: I’m crazy about my yogurt too but it’s still too soon for me to be posting pictures of me eating it on Instagram.
Lady Gaga: We do things our way.
Bea: Okay. Fair.
Lady Gaga: And no one likes low-fat yogurt. It’s revolting.
