In February, multiple sources confirmed that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas were expecting their first child together after a year of marriage. The couple kept things hush-hush until Sophie confirmed it during an interview with me at the beginning of the year. We met up again today to talk about how she and Joe are feeling.
Bea: Hi Sophie. Thanks for doing this with me.
Sophie: Of course.
Bea: You are humongous! I love it.
Sophie: Really? I’m only five months pregnant.
Bea: But that’s good. You look good!
Sophie: Thanks, I guess.
Bea: How are you feeling?
Sophie: I love being pregnant… but lately I’ve been feeling some heartburn and dizziness. And also some shortness of breath and nose bleeds…and I’m really constipated.
Bea: That’s great.
Sophie: I think it could be better… but yeah, I’m okay.
Bea: I’ve read that breasts grow a lot during the 5th month of pregnancy.
Sophie: Yeah…
Bea: But yours look pretty small.
Sophie: They are certainly bigger than before.
Bea: Joe must be loving that!
Sophie: [Silence]
Bea: How’s Joe feeling about the baby?
Sophie: He’s really happy and literally could not be more excited.
Bea: Awww, that’s so cute.
Sophie: Yeah, it really helps that he’s not the one cooking up the baby and has not been constipated for the past three weeks.
Bea: I hear ya. There was a mosquito in my room the other night and I barely slept because of it but my boyfriend slept just fine and I wanted him to die.
Sophie: I don’t think that’s the same thing.
Bea: I get ya.
Sophie: [Silence]
Bea: But are you guys happy?
Sophie: Oh, yeah [smiles].
