Liam Hemsworth has been hunkering down with his girlfriend Gabriella Brooks, amid the coronavirus pandemic. We talked on the phone today about what it’s been like to be in quarantine with his relationship being so new.
Bea: Hi Liam, thanks for agreeing to do this with me.
Liam: Of course. Right now any human interaction is welcomed.
Bea: [Laughts] True. Unless they’re a serial killer… or a fisherman.
Liam: What’s wrong with fishermen?
Bea: Nothing… if you like the smell of fish.
[Silence]
Bea: Are you self-isolating by yourself?
Liam: My girlfriend is staying with me.
Bea: Girlfriend? I thought you were single as a pringle.
Liam: No no. Gabriella and I have been together for a few months.
Bea: What do you guys do all day?
Liam: Well, she likes to sing so we’ve been doing a lot of karaoke.
Bea: Do you sing too?
Liam: I like singing but I’m not very good.
Bea: “Yo, I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want. So tell me what you want, what you really, really want. I wanna ha, I wanna ha, I wanna really zigazig ah!”
Liam: That was—.
Bea: “If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with MY FRIENDS. Make it last forever, FRIENDSHIP NEVER ENDS.”
[Silence]
Bea: That’s my go-to karaoke song.
Liam: Yeah… you’re not gonna sing again, are you?
Bea: Not unless you want me to.
Liam: That’s okay.
