Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have once again broken up after a rocky couple of months. And now they aren’t even speaking. (!) I met up with Scott to discuss what led to their breakup and how he’s feeling about it.
Bea: Thanks for doing this with me, Scott.
Scott: Sure thing.
Bea: I know you’re not busy but I still appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions.
Scott: Yeah, no problem.
Bea: Like I know you could be in your pool right now, drinking… well water, cause you’re a recovering alcoholic. But instead you’re here with me and I really appreciate it.
Scott: It’s fine.
Bea: Let’s start then… TMZ reported that you and Sofia Richie broke up. For good this time. Are you devastated? Or are you afraid you will never find love again?
Scott: Uh… both good questions….. uh, I’m sad that it didn’t work out between us, yes.
Bea: Uh-huh.
Scott: I mean… of course it’s hard… breakups are never easy, but sometimes… sometimes they’re necessary. You just gotta move on and let the other person build a life without you.
Bea: Go on…
Scott: That’s really all I wanna say about this topic.
Bea: What?! What do you mean…?
Scott: I don’t want to talk about my break up with Sofia.
Bea: I hear you… I do. But that’s kind of… See, for this interview I prepared [checks notes] 117 questions…. and they’re all about your breakup.
Scott: [Silence]
Bea: Questions like: “Are you okay?”, “Is she okay?”, “Did you cry yourself to sleep last night?” “Did you get tired of sleeping with a 21-year-old?” “Are you looking for someone younger?” “Did you know that’s illegal?”
Scott: Holy—
Bea: But let’s start with something easy… like what happened exactly? One moment you were both happy… well maybe not ‘happy’ but ‘not suicidal’… and then the next, you were over.
Scott: Well no…. A lot of things happened in between us being ‘happy’ and then ‘over’. We were together for three years… that’s a long time.
Bea: For someone who’s only 21 it’s literally all your “datable” life.
Scott: Exactly. I’m all she knows.
Bea: She’s lucky…
Scott: Thank you. I think so. But it’s over now… I need to focus on myself and my kids and my real responsibilities.
Bea: I’m already losing interest.
Scott: Excuse me?
Bea: So what advice would you give someone who’s going through an emotional breakup like you?
Scott: Just stay positive. Focus on what’s important like your multiple businesses and your three kids.
Bea: Very relatable… thanks.
Scott: No problem.
Bea: And Kourtney?
Scott: You’re only asking about Kourt so the title of your article can be some bullsh”t like: “Scott Disick opens up about his feelings for Kourtney Kardashian”, aren’t you?
