High School Musical alum, Ashley Tisdale and her husband Christopher French are expecting their first child together. My name is Justin Adler and I got a chance to talk to Ashley about her pregnancy.
Adler: Hi Ashley…. Is it Tisdale …. or Tisdale?
Ashley: [frowns]
Adler: Tisdale or Tisdale? Your last name…
Ashley: Tisdale.
Adler: I knew it! The photographer owes me 300 bucks.
Ashley: You say it exactly the sa—
Adler: It’s been settled. Thank you for your valuable input, Ashley.
Ashley: Ok [laughs].
Adler: First of all, congrats… I assume your round belly is because you’re pregnant.
Ashley: [laughs] You assume correctly…
Adler: I must admit…. [smiles] I can’t wait to see my girlfriend being pregnant with my baby…
Ashley: Are you guys thinking about having kids soon…?
Adler: Oh, totally… we totally would, if I had a girlfriend right now.
Ashley: [laughs]
Adler: That should happen any day now. Astrology.com says love is coming for me and I should keep my eyes open and be ready for something truly fantastic.
Ashley: Awww… [laughs]
Adler: And it better be truly fantastic. The last girl the universe sent my way liked to make her own underwear. Hideous underwear.
Ashley: [laughs]
Adler: Anyway, tell me about your pregnancy. How are you dealing with the excess hair on your arms and abdomen?
Ashely: I’m sorry…. what?! [laughs]
Adler: It’s okay. I know all about the pains and aches that come with pregnancy. I read it all on Cosmopolitan.com.
Ashley: Uh….
Adler: It’s rough… I mean, it’s really rough, man. I don’t know how women do it… And then some of them do it more than once! Who tricks these ladies?
Ashley: [laughs really hard] You have a point…
Adler: Of course I do!
Ashley: Well, for me…. it hasn’t been that bad. I do get very tired in the evenings but other than that I’m usually good. With lots of energy.
Adler: Make your husband rub your feet at the end of the night…. with lavender oil… from Yves Rocher, none of that other crap…. Stupid men, they have it so easy….
Ashley: [laughs]
Adler: How did you find out anyway?
Ashley: Find out… what?
Adler: That you got the role of Sharpay in…. that you were going to have to push out a human from your hoo-ha, obviously!
Ashley: [laughs] I … I just took a pregnancy test. My husband and I were trying to get pregnant so…. when I missed my period, I took a test and… I was pregnant!
Adler: I was hoping for something a little more interesting… but okay. I guess being pregnant is dramatic enough.
Ashley: [laughs]
Adler: Thanks for doing this with me, Ashley.
